The Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF) offers Professional Certification Support, a product that helps Saudi citizens earn the professional certificates the labour market needs.
Who is it for? Saudi citizens, whether employed in the public or private sector or looking for work. If you are employed, your employer must not have paid for the certificate.
What does it cover? HRDF refunds training costs and exam fees after you obtain the certificate, up to a ceiling it sets for each certificate. Membership fees of the awarding bodies are not covered. Support is available for up to two certificates.
Which certificates? Only those on HRDF's approved list, and only when obtained after the date they were added to it. The list changes with the labour market, so check the certificate you want on the product page of HRDF's website before you start.
How do you claim? Once you have the certificate, apply online through HRDF's platform with the certificate and the invoices for the training and the exam. The invoices must be in your name; a bank statement does not replace them. The amount is paid into your bank account once the requirements are complete.
In our course catalogue, the programmes HRDF supports carry its mark, and you can see them alone by choosing HRDF in the awarding body list. Your invoice is made out in your name, as you choose when you pay, and you will find it in your account on the website.
The product's details and conditions are HRDF's alone and may change. If you have a question about a particular programme, talk to a training advisor.
